On the same day, at Harrah's Rincon, there were fewer people and more 20 - 40 year olds at the Palapa bar and pool with lounge mats. I did not find it to be the loosest slots, as advertised either. With the many busloads of folks that come up every day - the casino felt crowded with people using walkers and my eyes were burning by the time I got into a restaurant there. At Valley View they have a separate room for non-smokers. You have to ask your waitperson.who didn't come around again until I was done eating.
I don't like the crab legs split and dried out the way Valley View presents them - and they don't offer melted butter. I'll give it to Valley View for buffet and restaurants.but just by a hair. Children that are hotel guests are allowed in the Lazy River pool only.
Valley View has one large Jacuzzi you share. I personally enjoy the Dive Club with the pool bar, lazy river and the nine Jacuzzis- placed in tropical settings that seem semi-private. Very quiet during the week days (adults only) - so for non-smokers who want peace - this could be your choice. The pool area at Valley View is very relaxing with a beautiful view. While both Hotels have nice rooms, Harrahs offers smoking rooms and refrigerators in every room.
